Wow. That really helped with my strumminng. I always thought it was necessary to catch each string on the down and upstrokes. No wonder it sounded messy. Thank you!

Excellent Lesson. Timing and counting are a very important aspect of music.
Bob you have a way of taking something
complex and breaking it down into simple to follow steps.
Your courses are always top notch and a great value.
What do you change to lighten the upstroke? I tend to pull my pick away from the strings by pulling my thumb and index finger, but you don\’t seem to do that. Guess whatever is most comfortable, but efficiency is important for stamina and avoiding injury. What say ye?

G,Day Mate,having a problen with the pick getting caught between strings and missing the string i mean to play and playing the one below or above any clues on how to eleveate this problem.Thanks Wayne
